The Mindful Maker Sydney was a collaboration between two friends wanting to launch hands-on workshops focused on home preserving, baking, needlework, and handmade crafts on Sydney’s North Shore. They needed a simple, cost-effective website to explain their concept and allow people to book workshop classes.
The Brief
The business needed a straightforward website that could present their workshop offerings and facilitate bookings without a large investment. The site needed to communicate the warm, community-focused nature of the workshops while integrating with an external booking platform to keep costs down.

Working closely with the clients who had a clear vision for the design, I created a welcoming website with a soft, natural aesthetic that reflected the handmade, mindful nature of the workshops. Key features included:

- Workshop class listings with descriptions
- Integration with external booking platform
- Soft green and cream colour palette with natural imagery
- Easy-to-navigate structure focused on getting visitors to workshop information quickly
