Can I add extra pages?
Yes of course! You can choose to add in pages upfront or down the track for an additional fee, the beauty of your website is it will be built to scale as your business grows.
Can I add a shop/eCommerce or other features?
Definitely! We can add on a shop, calendars for you to take bookings, membership sites – you name it! We’ll talk through what you need during our initial call and I’ll include it all in your proposal so the pricing is clear and transparent.
Will my website be secure?
Yes. Every site I build comes with a valid SSL certificate (that little padlock in the browser bar), security plugins, spam protection, and regular updates during your included care period. I use trusted tools and best practices to keep your site as safe as possible. For long-term peace of mind, I recommend clients signing onto my WordPress maintenance plan, this includes ongoing security checks and updates.
What happens after the website is launched?
I ghost you and you never hear from me again. KIDDING!
Included in all packages are 2 months of the standard website care plan, so I’ll be keeping an eye on things and making sure your website is running smoothly. I’ll check in with you regularly during this period, and then at the end of the 2 month period you can decide whether you want to stick around on a care plan or take over managing the site yourself.
How long does it take to build my website?
It depends on things like size, scope and how quick you are to give feedback. As a guideline:
- Starter (single page): 2–3 weeks
- Launch (multi-page): 4–6 weeks
Are there any ongoing costs?
Yep! There are a few standard costs to keep your website online:
- Domain renewal: usually $10–20/year (varies depending on your registrar and what type of domain)
- Hosting: around $10–30/month (I can give you recommendations if you’re unsure)
- Premium plugins: I generally avoid these unless absolutely necessary, and I’ll always discuss options with you first.
If you’d prefer not to worry about the ongoing tech side, you can also sign up for one of my website care plans and I’ll handle everything for you.
Website Care Plan FAQs
I already have a web host. Can you still look after my website?
Nope, sorry! A big part of keeping your website happy and healthy is using the best tech, and that includes hosting. I only work with hosting I trust to be secure, fast, and reliable. If you want to chat more about it, feel free to reach out!
Can I make changes to my site while it’s under a care plan?
Yes of course — it’s your website! Feel free to jump in and make edits. Just a heads up: if something breaks and I need to step in, there may be an extra fee to fix it. Also I’m here to work with you so always happy to record quick training videos to help you feel confident making edits yourself.
What happens if my site goes down?
I’ve got 24/7 uptime monitoring, so if your site goes offline, I’m notified straight away and will jump into action. You’ll be kept in the loop while I work to get things back up and running as quickly as possible.
Will this make my website "unhackable"?
I wish! Sadly, no website is completely unhackable (and anyone who says otherwise might be telling you a fib). That said, I take all the right precautions — regular updates, security monitoring, backups — so if anything ever goes wrong, I can get you back online fast.
What's not included?
Major redesigns, new features, or full content overhauls aren’t included in care plans. But if you’ve got big plans, I’m always happy to quote those separately!
What is your cancellation policy?
As much as I’d hate to see you go, you’re free to cancel anytime with 30 days’ notice — no awkward goodbyes. Just note: once cancelled, updates, backups, and security monitoring stop, so it’s important to have a plan in place if you part ways.
Do you offer hosting-only plans?
Nope. Hosting is just one piece of the care puzzle. Websites are a little needy — they need regular updates, security checks, and general TLC. That’s why I only offer all-inclusive care plans (your site deserves the full spa treatment!).
What if you didn't build my website?
No problemo — you’re still welcome! I’ll do a free mini site audit before we begin to make sure everything’s in good shape and compatible with my setup.
What is an 'unlimited task'?
It’s any task that takes 30 minutes or less — things like content tweaks, adding minor features, or small styling changes. Big jobs like new pages or custom features aren’t included, but I’ll always chat with you before starting anything outside the plan (because no one likes surprise bills 🙂).

What if I’m not on WordPress?
I can definitely still run an audit for you, but WordPress is my jam. If you’re on another platform, I’d recommend working with a specialist for that system.

How long does it take?
We’re speed demons now! I’ll aim to deliver your Website Speed Audit within 1 business day, 2 at the absolute max.
Why is the Website Speed Audit free?
Two reasons:
- Slow websites are one of my biggest pet peeves, so helping fix them feels like good karma.
- Full transparency, some people decide to hire me to handle the fixes, leave me a review, or keep me in mind for future work. If not, you still walk away with a faster site (which makes me happy) so win-win.
Can't you just speed up my website for me?
